a little about me

i'm darshan, an ai engineer from surat, india, now based in austin, texas. i've spent the last 4+ years building production-grade systems where ai feels inevitable, not bolted on.

my path started at p p savani university, where i studied computer engineering and built things like a facial recognition attendance system on raspberry pi and a blockchain voting platform that got selected for institutional presentation. i ran spring boot workshops for 50+ students because i believed if you can teach it, you truly own it.

at acodesoft technologies, i went from intern to full-time sde, leading the migration of monolithic .net services to java spring boot microservices on docker/kubernetes, cutting downtime by 35% and improving p95 query latency by 60%.

i moved 9,000 miles to austin for a master's in computer science at ut arlington, focusing on ai systems and distributed computing. built researchconnect for the mae department: semantic vector search with 384-dimensional embeddings matching researchers at a level no manual system could touch.

today i work remotely from austin as an sde at ftnss inc., architecting backend services and RESTful APIs for a multi-tenant marketplace platform, and i build production-grade ai products independently: regent (ai executive assistant with 13-stage email processing and rag-backed drafting) and mailpilot (real-time email automation with go async workers). my stack is go + python + typescript, and everything i build is designed to scale.
